Macquarie University Office of Advancement oversees the University's
fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. The Office of Advancement is
entering an exciting growth phase, which will build the University's
advancement capacity and position the University to embark on a
multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign.
are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate fundraiser to join our
Individual Giving Team for this newly created role. Use your fundraising
experience to make this role your own and contribute to implementing
best practice community fundraising programs and events, with a focus on
online and digital fundraising campaigns and appeals.
role you will be responsible for developing and executing community
building initiatives to create and grow new donor and volunteer groups.
You will have the opportunity to own a variety of new and existing
programs and digital campaigns, and will work closely with the Community
Fundraising Manager to provide support in the creation and
implementation of the overall community fundraising program.

Demonstrated understanding of the non-profit and philanthropic sector
Understanding of community fundraising and engagement principles
Demonstrated skill and experience of working knowledge of social media and digital fundraising
Strong track record building and managing relationships with key stakeholders from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in volunteer management
Experience with project management

Salary Package: HEW 6 from $77,894 to $85,982 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
