The Office of Advancement is entering an exciting growth phase, which will build the University's advancement capacity and position the University to embark on a multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign. 

The Role 

This is a newly created role and we are currently seeking a suitably experienced Training & Helpdesk Officer. This role is expected to develop, inform and conduct system training programs for various end users and provide first and second level IT support for the University Advancement system and databases. Knowledge and experience with working in a not for profit environment or higher education will be looked at favourably. 

Selection Criteria 

To be considered for the position, you must submit a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the criteria below and upload this and your CV as part of the application process: 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing first and second level IT support, especially with customer relationship databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting system training for various end users.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving helpdesk processes and managing time sensitive requests.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship databases and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex, high volume environment.

Salary Package:  From $77,894 - $85,982 p.a. (Level 6), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
