The University is seeking an experienced Director, Finance Transformation who can work with our Chief Financial Officer and other key finance executives to unite, inspire and create a culture of high performance, collegiality and service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of the finance function.
The Director, Finance Transformation reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is a newly created role. This position is crucial to the long-term sustainability of Macquarie University and its controlled entities, and requires a leader with demonstrated experience in delivering results and leading a complex finance function on a transformation journey. The successful candidate will have experience in leading and driving business improvement programs in a complex operating environment and is likely to be a qualified accountant or have spent significant time in a changing finance function.
