At Macquarie you'll join a vibrant community of diverse perspectives, all working towards a brighter future for our communities and our planet. Surrounded by beautiful parkland campus, our students and staff are free to explore and discover, supported by facilities including a high-tech library, private teaching hospital, gym and pools, childcare facilities, a campus train station and the newly expanded Macquarie Centre shopping complex next door.

Join us and start seeing the world in a different light.

Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) is a University-wide initiative designed to provide undergraduate students with experiential learning opportunities with a range of local, regional and international partners.  A key objective of the University’s Learning and Teaching Strategic Framework (2015) is to expand experiential learning programs to further enhance the employability of Macquarie graduates. One of the key strategies to achieve this objective will be to build on the PACE initiative through providing full internship opportunities and Co-operative Education (Co-op) across undergraduate programs.

PACE is seeking an experienced project co-ordinator to contribute to the development of a robust framework for the delivery of a Co-op program and increased internship opportunities for undergraduate students, and to provide high-level project co-ordination.  The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, among others: contributing to establishing strategic priorities for program design and delivery; developing and maintaining partner relationships;  developing and recommending student recruitment plans together with supporting systems and business processes; contributing to the development of promotional materials; researching and evaluating options for program delivery including considering potential risks related to different models; and developing and implementing a detailed project plan.
