Macquarie International is seeking a Senior Manager, International Relations who will contribute to the development and manage implementation of International Relations strategies, initiatives, projects aimed at enhancing research relationships for the University. You will have the onus of managing the International Relations team. You will manage the existing network of Macquarie University strategic partners and research relationships, maximising research collaboration outcomes. You will provide expert advice and support to MI Executive and Leadership team on international strategic partners and research collaboration arrangements including advice on international protocol and etiquette. You will develop and distribute briefing papers to inform key stakeholders including the Executive on the specifics of international visits including the expected outcomes for the University.

- Degree and extensive experience in International Relations, politics, business, marketing or related discipline.
- Experience working in the diplomatic sector, an embassy or international agency.
- Experience in providing expert advice on international protocol.
- Managing stakeholders in environments that require high levels of protocol and cross-cultural communication.
- Writing briefing papers and proposals for senior stakeholders.
- Building and managing partnerships with international bodies and agencies.
- Experience in managing international delegate visitors.
- Managing projects.

- Knowledge of the Australian and international higher education system.
- Proficiency in a world language (desirable).
Salary Package: From $112,204 – $118,506 p.a. (Level 9), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
