Macquarie University Property Division supports the University in achieving its learning, teaching and research goals through providing planning, development and maintenance services for all University buildings and infrastructure as well as providing a growing commercial property investment portfolio through development and/or acquisition and managing the same.

The Role

The Property Division is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the Director of Property.  If you are an excellent communicator who proactively builds and manages positive relationships and are flexible and resilient in your approach, then this is a role you will thrive in.

You will have exceptional organizational skills and be able to exercise a high level of personal judgment in dealing with a range of confidential and sensitive issues. You will take an active role in managing, prioritising and maintaining the Director’s diary, correspondence and events as well as provide support to the Senior Leadership team when required.

Selection Criteria

  • Extensive experience in the provision of executive support at a senior level, preferably within the property sector
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and corporate partners
  • Proven exceptional verbal and written communication skills in addition to the ability to manage confidential matters with discretion
  • A consistent track record of delivering high quality work and being accountable for the successful completion of tasks within realistic timeframes

Salary Package: From $77,894 – $85,982 per annum (Level 6), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
