Higher Degree Research Office
The Higher Degree Research Office (HDRO) manages the administration of the University's Higher Degree Research (HDR) Degrees, including the MRes program. The HDR Operations Team is responsible for the management of the full student cycle of research and research training pathway programs for domestic and international candidates. It supports HDR candidates in their enrolment, progression and completion of their Research and/or Research Pathway Degrees.
The Operations team has an opportunity for a Higher Degree Research Operations Officer (Progressions and Completions). The successful applicants will fulfil an important operational role by providing advice and support for domestic and international HDR students in progression and completion processes.
To be successful in the role you will be service focused, resilient and have exceptional communication, planning and organisational skills to support the end to end progression and completion process.
To be considered for this position, applicants must respond to the selection criteria below and attach as a separate document in the application process:
- Experience working in a Research Management or Student Administration environment
- Demonstrated experience with complex databases or electronic systems
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse and report on data
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- A demonstrated resilient and flexible attitude and the ability to work well in a high volume and repetitive environment
