The Macquarie University Simulation Hub is a purpose-built facility that draws together a range of simulation devices into one location, enabling leading experts from the University and industry to collaborate on translational research across a wide-range of disciplines.
In this role you will provide support (or where appropriate, coordinate) specialist technical support and advice to staff, students and partners on the use and set up of simulation technologies and programs to assist them achieve their research objectives.
The tasks and responsibilities of the role include coordination and delivery of demonstrations and training, maintaining an asset register, develop user manuals for equipment and establish facility user processes, monitor and manage online booking system and ensure WHS compliance in the facility.

- Qualification and/or equivalent technical experience in simulation equipment
- Demonstrated experience providing specialist technical support and advice to stakeholders on the use and set up of simulations technologies and programs
- Demonstrated skills and experience in coordinating and delivery of training and/or demonstrations to stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working with and troubleshooting simulation equipment and software
Salary Package: From $80,231 to $88,571 p.a. (HEW Level 6), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
