Reporting directly to the Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching and working closely with the University’s Careers Office and other key stakeholders, the Associate Director, Careers will lead the development and implementation of best-in-class careers programs that support students of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) and Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) to acquire skills and knowledge to reach their professional goals. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and leadership of the FBE careers strategy and for the leadership of FBE careers programs and events, in active partnership with related functions within the Faculty and University and with alumni and industry partners.
You have an outstanding record of achievement in delivering careers and/ or employability programs in a higher education environment or other relevant context. Creative, proactive, outcome-driven and strategic, you have the ability to develop initiatives from conception to implementation, evaluate their impact, navigate complex situations and adapt to change. Your team management skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to form impactful relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You combine high-level communication, analytical, project planning and influencing skills with a passion for education and a drive to deliver successful outcomes.
