Group Marketing serves all university groups to promote the University's brand, reputation and achievements globally. The Communications team provides advice and guidance on effective internal, external communications and issues management strategies. The team manages the University's reputation in the media as well as with key stakeholders and develops high level messaging about the University for its target audiences.
Group Marketing is currently looking for a full time Internal Communications Specialist to work within the Communications team to develop student engagement communication strategies. Working with the Internal Communications Manager, you will bring strategic thinking and relationship skills to positively impact a new framework for student communications.
You will contribute to the development of innovative and creative approaches to two-way communications with the aim of inspiring confidence and institutional pride among students. You must be able to collaborate with key senior stakeholders for alignment and work to tight timeframes. Proven experience in executing communication plans is essential. - Degree and/or equivalent experience in communications, or related marketing discipline
- Demonstrated skill and experience implementing communication plans and strategies across internal channels
- Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships and networks
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative approaches to content and channel management for engaging audience interest
Salary Package: HEW Level 7- $87,699 to $95,084 per annum plus 17% super and annual leave loading
