As part of DVC, Corporate Engagement and Advancement, The Future Students Office develops and implements strategies and initiatives aimed at attracting and engaging prospective students to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Macquarie.
The Recruitment Assistant will work within the Undergraduate Future Students team, reporting to the Future Students Manager, Undergraduate, to support the delivery of recruitment and outreach activities in high schools and on campus. They will represent the University at careers markets, expos and other events, and respond to questions from prospective undergraduate students about study at Macquarie University.
To be considered for the position, you must submit a cover letter (no more than 2 pages) which addresses the criteria below and upload this and your CV as part of the application process:
- Tertiary qualification and experience in marketing/student recruitment or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proven capacity to deliver presentations to a large audience
- Understanding of the student experience, university admissions and UAC processes
- Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Salary Package: HEW Level 4 $62,021 to $66,845 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Appointment Type: Fixed term until 15 March 2019.
