Group Marketing manages and promotes the University’s brand, reputation and achievements. The Communications team provide advice and guidance on effective internal and external communication strategies, manage the University’s reputation in the media as well as with key stakeholders and develop high level messaging about the University for its target audiences.
Reporting to the Issues and Media Manager, you will implement communications plans and initiatives aimed at protecting and promoting the reputation of the University, particularly to external/media audiences. You will research, write and distribute press releases, monitor the University’s media coverage and provide advice and support to key clients on handling communications with media, industry and government entities.

- Degree and/or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian media market
- Proven ability to write effective communication for various channels and audiences
- Demonstrated skill and experience in developing and implementing communication and engagement plans
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and networks
Salary Package: From $ 87,699 to $ 95,084 p.a. (HEW Level 7), plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
