- Salary Package: $95,866-$103,939 p.a. (HEW Level 7), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

We are seeking a driven Sales Consultant to recruit our Postgraduate students. This position will be target focused and fast paced, where no day will be the same. You will go from meeting with prospective students using solutions selling techniques to achieve conversion, going out to businesses and meeting with senior stakeholders to build partnership opportunities with the University, to running and/or attending events and networking.

You will be a proactive sales professional, with a strong track record of hitting sales targets. Your experience will range from cold calling to relationship nurturing and solutions selling approaches. You will be comfortable working autonomously, but also enjoy working in a team environment.
Your ability to build influential relationships and partnerships will set you up for success in this dynamic fast paced role.
The Future Students Office develops and implements strategies and initiatives aimed at attracting and recruiting domestic students to study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Macquarie.

- Degree or equivalent experience in sales and business development.
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets, using prospect development, targeting, solutions selling, relationship nurturing solutions selling approaches.
- Undertaking business development activities to actively develop corporate partnerships and opportunities.
- Experience with proactive cold calling.
- Implementing recruitment campaigns, programs and initiatives.
